December 2009

Ah...the magic of December.  Snow, the anticipation of Christmas and lucky me I got to experience it all through the eyes of my children.  It doesn't get much better than that.  This was a particularly fun year for all the "magic".  Ada and Emmet were excited about it ALL.

We start off with cousin Alexis' birthday party and Ada and Emmet's very first experience with bowling...which they LOVED.  As you'll notice as you go along I'm trying to figure out how to navigate the new tools in blogger...I'm a bit dysfunctional when it comes to this stuff!

Ramps & bumpers...gotta love it.

I love her animation!
Emmet's turn!
Waiting so patiently.
Check out the shoes!
"Racer Emmet" & "Princess Ada"
Another fun thing to do at the bowling alley...this created some meltdowns when it was time to leave.

Pop's lent us his Hotwheels train set.  Emmet continues to ask to play with this...it's now July.

SNOW DAY!!!!!
Ada in the blizzard.
Daddy made a jump.
So much fun!
Umm...Daddy trying to trick us into thinking the snow bank (although VERY tall) was taller than him.
Getting ready to go to our very first Holiday Program through our preschool.  They were so excited!

With our teacher, Ms. Katie and our best bud, Delia.
Blurry but oh well.

Christmas Eve

Add caption
It has become tradition that we spend Christmas Eve morning with Dad & Julie for brunch, gifts, love & of course silliness.

Then we spend x-mas eve night with Nana & Pops.  This year Pop's kids & grandkids were visiting from Arizona.

Wii fun.

Then...time to go home to put out cookies for Santa!!!

Ada & Emmet both signed their names and Ada even threw in an extra note for Santa.
Christmas Morning

Hooray for stockings!

Ada opening her present from Emmet!

Emmet opening his gift from Ada...with a kiss.

Gifts for mom & dad from Ada and Emmet - made at school.
