Ada Lee my rock star. She is constantly singing and is now in love with princesses...so much so that she felt the need to sing about them.
Nana gave A&E their first set of bath crayons. These were a hit! Just look at their art work...
For Mother's Day we had a nice brunch with Mom, Doug, Greg & Gina at Quivey's Grove. The kids & Roger surprised me with my very own tool box, which was awesome!

Ada has always loved to color and paint but recently she has been really into making people and they have gotten particularly good actually. She's been adding more details and takes her time during her creating. She's also really into writing names and words and can do "mom", "ada" and "nana" indepedently. The letters aren't always in the correct order but she sure tries hard. Here are a few examples.
Roger turned 40 on May 16th! For his "big present" he went to Florida in February to visit his best bud Rob. We had a small celebration with the fam at Nana & Pops. Yes...I know, we spend a lot of time at Nana & Pops house.
Ada & Emmet had their very first sleepover at Nana & Pops. Roger and I were tempted to stay home and enjoy our quiet house but forced ourselves to go out and ended up having a great time. We hit The Harmony Bar for some dinner and a terrific blues band (Perry Weber and The Devilles). We stayed out way too late and had a few too many Spotted Cows...because we could. The next morning Emmet called us to tell us that breakfast was ready and we slowly made our way down the street (yes, that's right Nana and Pop just live down the street from us - we're so lucky) for some yummy breakfast. A&E had a great time. Nana slept in the bed with them and Emmet was up around 5am - he later passed out on the couch with Daddy. Thank You Nana and Pops!
Seriously, Emmet would play with his cars ALL day long if it were up to him.
Woo hoo! I can move on to June!
